Weekend O' Bikes

So this weekend wasn't so much about CTAPP but was about biking. I woke up early and got the heck out of Stampede Central and headed west. I had some friends participating in the 24 hours of Adrenalin

I wanted to get some decent ride time in so I headed up to highway 1A for a repeat ride from our training weekend. It was a good ride, great weather yada, yada, yada but man was I ever bored! I missed my team, having someone to harass during the rides, having someone to keep pace with.

But my ride on Sunday was MUCH better. After spending the night in a tent at the 24 hours site I wasn't sure I was even going to bother riding but then as I came back to the city Bragg Creek called and I did Bragg to Elbow Falls and back and the ride out was alright but wind on the downhill coming back was the sweetest part of all! 45km/h average speed coming back. It was a fantastic ride.
