6 hour 123km 6am to noon outside Chyanne Wells (great stripper name) to Lamar
Last night was a tone of fun. Three teams congregated in Burlington. The hot tub was a surprise treat.
I think I got approximately 8-9 hours sleep in 36 hours. Yesterday I woke up in Wyoming, I crossed the state line into Nebraska on my bike and woke up again in Colorado. All in less then 24 hours!
Today rides was quite the adventure. We started 20 min late but more then made up the time on our first shift. The sunrise was... well actually there are no words. More rides need to start with a sunrise!
We were just cruising along until we hit Granada. The ambulance dropped back by the time we hit out last break we realized that they had been gone for quite a while and found out they were broken down. The ambulance was dead. Team four helped us out and followed behind for the last hour and we then returned the favor for the next 2. (Volunteers deserve more then a medal, I didn't realize just how boring 30/km is!!!)
We finally how no need for booties and warmers. I'm wearing Capri and a tank top. Love this side of the front!!

Hey Kels!!!
Lynn and I just got back from San Fran and I have now had time to read your blog. Sounds like you are having a blast (albeit sans sleep). Sorry I miss then send off. I had great plans to be there, but got back from Ottawa Tues night and had a 12:30 pm flight on Wed so time was not on my side.
Spoke to Chris and he is excited about being part of the ride on Sunday. Say hi to Lance for me...I expect to see a picture of you with him when you return (if that isn't a challenge, I don't know what is!)
Hope you have a great pre-birthday bash when you arrive in Austin. Hoist one for me (I will do same on Sunday for you).
Take care, happy trails,
Coach Dwaine
