April 14th Los Alisos Canyon to Foxen up through Sisquoc down Santa Maria Mesa Road, traversed Sisquoc River and back to Los Alamos

79.50km

Max Speed 65.08

We ripped up some serious pavement today. It was a fantastic peloton ride and a very nice recovery ride after yesterday. The weather didn’t get above 25 it was very sweet. We hit a road end sign and made the decision to traverse the creek. It was not at all road riding but it was super fun to carry my bike over the stream. I had the choice to double back with two of the group of traverse the creek! Having the choice between fun and less fun I always choose more fun! I could have joined the fast boys on another hill climb but thought better of it after yesterday’s train wreak. We crossed the river and Andrew and I decided to wait for the group. It just happened that we choose to wait at a vineyards tasting room. It was the prefect recovery 80km
