Business Wednesday???

So first thing first. I am so not motivated to run these days. I am all about being on the bike and in the water. Lately I have even been waking up before my 5:30 swim alarm. I went out for my run last night an nothing seemed to be working or feeling good at all. I had bought a pair of shoes when I was last in Seattle and thought I'd give them a try they just pain hurt and felt awkward the entire time. I forgot to go to the bathroom before I left the house and spent most of the run having to pee. It was kinda a disaster. I'm feeling like I've spent all this time and energy improving my swim and biking and have been neglected the running. And we all know with IM it all comes down to the run. I need some running coaching stat!

Anyways back to thins mornings swim!

All that is holy that was a brutal swim class. I didn't even have anyone to draft off of the entire set.

warm up
300m - 50 breast, 50 back

main set
400m - 100m IM (25 fly, 25, back, 25 breast, 25, free)
400m - 25m breathing every 3 strokes
- 25m every 5 strokes
- 25m every 7 strokes!!!
- 25m back
Now do the whole thing 3 times!

It was an awesome workout. but man those 7 breaths just about killed me. I could maybe do one in 25m. It's so psychological though. At first I was having a problem with the 5, but when I would trick myself into thinking it was 7 and suddenly 5 didn't seem that hard!


Only two more sleeps until California!

I would be interested in hearing your review on the yoga book. My first class of yoga was last Sunday and it feels like I pulled something in my groin...LOL. Despite some of the poses being difficult for me, I still enjoyed it.

Your toes are pristine compared to some other trathlete ones I have seen.
