Takin' care of business

For the first time in a while I had to peal myself off the pillow to get to swim. Normally I wake up 10 min before the alarm and am excited and ready to go. This morning was a fight to get out of the bed.

Syl worked us over big time today

200m on our own warm up

400m reverse IM drill switching strokes on the 25's (reverse didn't compute in my brain this morning)
10 sets of
25m free
25m kick
25m heads up
10 pulls ups on the edge of the pool deck
25m backstroke

Followed by 300m scull sitting on the flutter boards.

I was so tired that I couldn't hold up my arm to properly dry my hair and ended up just throwing it in a ponytail.

I realize now that's only 1800m but I am so exhausted I can bairly keep my head up straight. There was so much splashing in the pool I felt like I was being torutred in Guatanamo with the waterboarding. About half way through one of the heads up I thought to myself was this the wise decision? You could still be in bed right now!
