So I had to bail on swimming last night. I was really exhausted and decided that there was a reason that IG puts a solid rest day in my schedule before a race and I should listen to him! I'm still feeling sleepy today but I think that's more from a letter from my Father delivered last night then from racing. Not what I wanted just before a race but sometimes life is like that. We'll just push it aside for this weekend and deal with it later. I'm a big fan of Napoleon's battle plan. 'first we show up, then we see what happens'
I picked up my package and the shirt is Awesome! So let's hope Ms. Susi's theory stands true. Great shirt = great race! I'm feeling more confidant about it, though a little freaked out. Which I'm sure is normal for any first time 1/2 Ironman race. I'm just trying to remember that whatever happens out there it's going to be a PB!
Question? Do you put water in your profile container or your electrolyte/whatever drink?

I put my special drink in the profile bottle. I have figured that I will mix one bottle that I keep in one of my cages with 3x concentrate of the special drink - then at aid station I grab water and dump into profile bottle and THEN having left a little room - i dump in 1/3 of concentrate to make a perfect on the fly bottle of said special drink....
I like N. game plan - show up and SMILE...what ever you do WILL be a PB!!
