Another Wednesday another swim

First I met up with Cory at TCR and he spent a tonne of time with my setting up my aero bars. Ever since I first got them they have never felt comfortable and I didn't feel like I wanted to get down into them. Lola got a new tape job, a new saddle and a much more comfortable aero position. We are both happy campers!

Only Darryl and I made it for open water practice this week. Conveniently IG scheduled a dinner meeting for the same time hmmmmm

The water was very warm and part way through I hit several warm pockets, Darryl swears it wasn't him! It was too warm for a wetsuit swim and we both were sweating in up. Swimming with Darryl is a little different then swimming with IG, substantially less breaks. There was some wind so we got some waves which were interesting and then on the last stretch we were swimming along and out of nowhere BBQ! It smelled sooooooooooo good.

The lovely and obliging Al got us in, took over coaching duties and was our photographer. We both felt like pro's with our own photographer and row boat tour guide.

Conveniently IG showed up just as we were getting out of the lake...

I was wondering why Greg was looking at his watch so much just before leaving our place. He didn't say anything about the possibility of a swim when we set the date for getting together.

Hope to see you next Wed, if Al is still willing!

Susi, I assure you that Al took over 10 photos of me swimming! I just thought these were more fun!
