Shannon asked me this question yesterday. A few days ago my answer would have been
"Saturday! I'm crossing the BC border and doing a dance of joy. I'm free from my condo, my terribly useless job and crazy family!"
Sadly, the third conditional sale on my condo fell through yesterday. So we're back to square one (-$20,000 as that's how much the market has softened in the past three months square one)
So new (less then ideal) plan is that I will leave Calgary this Saturday for three weeks of school, classes start Tuesday August 5th. Then drive to Penticton August 21st, staying just long enough to race and maybe get a good nights sleep before I depart for... wait for it... Calgary. With any luck (and I know that I have very little of it right now) the condo will have sold in the next 3.5 weeks and then I'll be able to pack it up get back into my car are drive all the way back to Victoria. My poor little car won't know what to do with all those km. Classes start again September 2nd. At some point my luck has to change and something will work for me right?
Also, Ironman has decided to grace Calgary with it's presence. I introduce Ironman Calgary 70.3

Wow! the 70.3 course looks like tres mega fun! I've actually been on lots of it. wooohooo! Who's up for it?
Hey...as I was leaving a msg on Jenna's blog...I had an epiphany regarding your new nickname - Streaker!
Ever seen the movie "Old School". Remember when they would chant "Frank the Tank, Frank the Tank".
Well, what if everyone were to chant, in a similiar fashion
"Streak-ER, Streak-ER, Streak-ER"
as you walked down the Lakeshore Blvd race morning to the swim? How cool would that be?
I apologize...I've ate too much sugar this afternoon and are hitting blogs with random acts of written nonsense.
Regarding your move...like you said, things have a funny way of working out in the end...even if the road in front of you is unclear ;)
wooo hooooo a 70.3. I think I'll enter. As long as it's not too pricey. :P I wonder how fast it'll fill up.
Sorry to hear about your condo not selling yet Kelsey, good luck with your moving, schooling, and last but not least Ironmaning as well.
I'm gonna enter that IM sucka. Do you suppose I can learn how to swim by August 2009?
Hahahaha -- Shannon, you are hilarious! What if Kelsey ran during the underpants run and didn't wear any underpants? Then we really could shout, "STREAK-ER!!!!" LOL!
Good luck selling your condo, babe. The right person hasn't come along yet. :) :)
let me know if there is anything i can do to help with the move - when it happens. WHICH IT WILL! :)
