I can't believe the send off was less then 12 hours ago. It feels like we've been on the road for a week! Fighting with clips, how to get free porn in the hotels and lessons on how not to behave as a CTAPP rider. Personality colours and stitch removal. We had an absolute blast. Tailwinds for the last 23 km, always the best way to end a ride. (well maybe tailwinds downhill, but lets not get greedy shall we)

The send off was very cool. It all went past like a blur, I vaguely remember seeing my friends and family but I know it was fantastic to see them there. A kiss blown to my nephew was worth the next 8 days of pain. Plus having the police escort was UBER fun. Flying through town, way past cool. It did feel like a lot of hurry up and wait. I was sitting in the van and could feel my legs getting twitchy wanting to spin. We ran several errands and then headed out. The weather was sketchy at best but by the time 3pm rolled around it was sunny and gorgeous.

Crossed the border, tried to find lodging in Shelby MT, but damn team 2 scooped us! So now we are in Chester Montana. population 800. (I think that's counting the sheep though)
