I knew a crazy workout was just what I needed to restore my good humor. Last night was the TCR spin we did our standard 10min warm up and into the main ride which was (for those of you in Calgary) COP to UofC which meant going from a -6% grade to 11.5%. It was great, I managed to keep my watts at 204 and finished under 19min. Beer and bread from Cobbs Bakery and much discussion on the Solvang trip.
I'll head out for my run tonight after work and then I've got an extra long weekend. The workouts include
Friday swim - TCR class is off so some of us from class are meeting up at the Churchill pool.
Saturday - 1000m swim test! I'm hoping I can come in anywhere close to Susi's Rock Star time! My last 1000m test was before I started swimming with Syl so I'm hoping that it's better then the 24:00 from last time. I'm heading out snowshoeing with some friends Saturday afternoon.
Sunday - Yoga, weights and bike. I have to take my pedals in to Cyclepath the right side doesn't want to clip in anymore and I have to press in really hard to clip in and getting out is sticky too. I don't want to pull a Chuck when I get out on the road!
Monday - Off day, I'll probably head in to do some weights. I also have to sort out my condo this weekend to get it ready to put on the market by the end of the month!

qt, you should use your present condo to finance something out on the coast. you can derive some income through renting the Calgary property while have an equity position on a victoria property. beats paying rent and watching your money disappear.

I'm glad to hear the cranky pants are off. Good luck on your swim test! I've come to believe the 20 min K is mostly psycological. One day I did it and it damn near killed me. The very next swim I relaxed and did it in 19:30. And that was after being plateaued at the 21:30 to 23 minute mark forever.
