After a killer massage (aka 60 min of grimacing, deep breathing, trying desperately to go to my happy place) I am right as rain. Well almost. This man is a miracle worker. I know EVERYONE says that about their masseuse. I had a stress fracture when I was 17 and I wore the dorky air cast and recovered. I go see this guy and immediately he knew something had happened to my left leg and started working on releasing the scar tissue. Crazy! My ankles and lower shins feel so much looser, I can almost feel blood flowing through them. He also managed to release my hip flexors that had seized after the weekends activities and I'm ready to jump back on to week one of the IG plan!
My run went well'ish today, 85 min staying in mid zone two for most of it. My joints were still rebelling on me. My knee took a good 40min to warm up and stop feeling like it might give out on me again. The good news is it didn't. Also my ipod died on me. I guess it is still mad at me for putting it in the washing maching. 85min is a looooooong time to run with only my thought! I'll have a good stretch tonight after my weights and core. I have to try to catch up to our Julie over there! She's kicking our butts guys!!

yes..it might have been a long run to be alone with your thoughts but come IMC - you will be alone much longer, with much different thoughts (or perhaps none at all...lol) So it is like mental training :) - Yeah hard not to love the massage person who is able to rectify all the harm you have done during the week.
Way to go on the run "sans" iPod. Definitely a character builder run. Nice work.
