I have taken to walking to swim class so I was actually early this morning (which actually means that I could have had 10 more minutes of sleep!!!)
I got a good 500m warm up before Syl started in on us.
10x25m with 10 sec rest, which was a trick. We thought the class was going to be nice and easy, lulled into submission!
Main Set
3000m IM drill
Which was actually a lot of fun. We were divided into groups of four and took turns on each of the 25m drills.
My shoulder are killing me from the butterfly, which someone aptly called the drowning dragon at the end of class. I cannot dolphin kick to save my life but my stroke seemed to work. A quick cool down and off to work!
I discovered a new recovery drink this morning
Chocolate Almond Milk (I'm allergic to dairy) with to tbs of protein power. mmmmmmm
Let's see if I can keep up the energy to chick a few of the boys tonight in spin!

BUTTERFLY!!! I can't even think about doing butterfly. I remember taking Bronze Medallion a bunch of years ago, and someone asked about learning butterfly. The instructor leaned forward, and whispered "anybody that actually wants to teach butterfly to anyone but elite swimmers is a psychopath."
