Well it still does but now you ahve to work for it! A year ago I did the Golden Triangle ride and just about died. It was misserable and raining and cold and I was not happy (photo graphic evidence can be found here) Not I'm about to head out on a Four Days of Pain weekend. What a year can do.
I'm feeling more fatigued then I'd like to be heading into the weekend. I feel like i haven't been able to sit still for more then a hour in the past month. Everything has just been go-go-go since early April and I need a breathier. I decided to drive out to the camp on my own to work through some dad/family stuff but generally to exhale.
Also, there better be beer. I come from a world where you work hard and then have a beer! Am I wrong?

Loved the photos from a year ago. And getting that all in a Smart car is tres amazing.
You are so right! Bring on the beer! And you should see what I have planned after my 18K run on Sunday: deep-fried clams and chips followed by a deep-fried Mars bar with soft serve and drizzled with caramel. Some good 'ole Keith's just might be on the menu, too. You should be a model person for the Smart Car.
