Really?

Now if anything were to ever happen to Lola or Betty I would be beside myself. Someone recently commented that I may have crossed the line from cute & quirky into a tad obsessive when it comes to my bike.

Is it wrong to talk about my bike in the third person. I don't have cats I have bikes.

But a bicycling theft ring? That one of the city's bike shop owners was in on?

I'd be pretty upset if anything happened to Estela.

Have you notice how many of us have named our bikes? I think it's because we spend so much time on them, and if something happens, we could be way, way out in the middle of nowhere.

Since hearing this story, I've been thinking about registering Frufru here:

http://www.bikeregistrycanada.com/mec/

may not prevent her from being bike-jacked but if she was ever recovered it might help.

or, at least write down the serial number for safe keeping.

or, buying a gps tracking device...

I don't understand bike theft --- there can't be THAT much money in it can there? Geesh.

Who in the world would want a pee-stained triathlon bike?

Heh-heh-heh.
