So after realizing that the condo just isn't going to sell I'll be taking it off the market at the end of the month. I've been trying to rent it out for the past month and to no avail. If it fails to rent out by November 15th I may not be able to return to school next semester. I have no idea what the universe it trying to tell me.
1. I love Victoria I feel like this is where I'm suppose to be right now
2. I love school and thrive off the student living
3. I got a part-time job at MEC and can't wait for it to start
But seriously, what I'm am I suppose to do?

Tough one. It's a glitch Kelsey. Somebody at the Universe head office forgot to run the AVG Anti-Virus, and consequently anything to do with "condo" has been ignored.
Seriously, this really sucks! Did you ever think about asking your (gulp) family for some extra dough so you can continue on with school -- maybe the Universe could be telling you to turn to family. You don't know how brave I had to be to just type that!! LOL!!!
You know that Victoria is where you are supposed to be -- you feel it with every fiber of your being. The only thing holding you back, so to speak is the stupid condo. Is there something metaphysically holding you back as well? I mean I'm stretching here, but YOU posed the question! LOL!! What did Freud say? Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
Really though, I think it is shitty timing. The housing market and the economy just started to nosedive at the same time you left Calgary. Sometimes, no matter how hard we work, and after the best efforts, things still turn sour.
Following your dream will entail overcoming obstacles. These obstacles are NOT going to stop you from following your dream, Kelsey. They are temporary. Even if it all goes down the tubes and you do return to Calgary, EVENTUALLY it will sell. You can always return to school.
I'm blathering here, but what I am trying to say, is that you are a very good friend to me. I admire your strength, your insight, your wisdom, your calm logic. If I have any sway with the Universe -- I'm putting a request for your condo to sell. :)

Perhaps you can rent it as a new session of uni starts up in calgary - you might have to make it a real DEAL - put out the words to family and friends - if Vic feels like home I would HATE to tell you to leave it and go back to the other crapola. Hang in there!!!I on speed dial with the Universe so just give me a second.... ok - just gave them hell - good things coming your way!!
Tough decision to make. Sometimes the decision you least want to make may have a silver lining in it.
Either way, life moves on and so will you. You'll go where you need to go.

you can give these guys a go - my friend is using them to rent out their place while they are in malaysia for two years. rents only to non smoking ex pats. typically oil and gas execs.
