Wednesday Night/Thursday

I've already told Greg everything so this post is for the other IGP'ers that have started reading this. HI!

Wednesday's TCR spin class was awesome and terrible. We had our 10km TT and my time was over a minute faster then it was in was in October and I was 20 watts over my last wattage. Really cool. Despite my HR reaching an all time high. Which I'm not allowed to post in case Greg does read this. The negative side was around the 8km mark I thought for sure I was going to lose my lunch. My tummy did not feel any better by the cool down and beer was the last thing it wanted. I couldn't even eat one of the sparkly heart cookies that Graham brought. Bah

After a great nights sleep today I'm back in great spirits. My run this afternoon called for
20 minute warm up
5 sets of 5 min upper zone two 3 minutes ez
cool down

It was such a beautiful day out! I was smart and took lots of time to properly warm up and eased into my zone two HR (again if you're keeping track that's 166-179) I ran from my office to the Crowchild underpass and looped back. My run was going really great, the odd time someone passed me I would think about Greg with a giant lasso pulling me back and shouting 'it's all about building your pyrmid!!' I think my HR monitor need a new battery it kept doing all sorts of wonky thinks. I don't think it's possible that my HR would drop from 178 to 98 bpm! Hopefully it's just the battery.

In the spirit of all thing involving sparkly hearts and candies that taste like chalk I give you... You know you're dating a triathlete when

hello from a fellow IGPer. I'm looking at your zone 2 heart rate and thinking this is heart attack city for me. Note to self, don't get you pissed at me, cause I'll never get away on foot!

Hi Keith I've been reading your blog and hope to never make you mad at me in the pool! Then again practicing getting kicked might make for good Ironman training!
