A week or so ago I was invite to join some of my hard core cycling buddies on a trip to Solvang California. AKA where they filmed Sideways! At first I was just thrilled to be thought of at close to their level! These are the guys that remember me from my first real road ride where I left my front wheel open and got two flats off the start. (humiliating and a real push) I laughed it off thinking I could never afford it. Well I still can't really and could probably find better uses with the money. I was given the Eco Car credit from Mr. Harper and his fine men (I drive a Smart Car) and thought why not!
After getting permission from IronGreg who's only rule was that I bring him with me! I'm going April 11th to 18th for a bike-the-snot-out-of-me, never-say-die, just-try-to-grab-a-wheel week! You can't see it but I'm "I'm going to Cal-if-orina Dance" right now at my cubical.
Also, IG said I could bike tonight if I felt up to it. Well I was feeling kinda sleepy but now I'm suddenly very energized!
